Pearl Der

Pearl Der uses paint as a vehicle to explore the symbolism and mystique of her oriental heritage. Her koi and tropical floral paintings pay homage to the cultural importance of numbers, colors and the subtle meanings of feng shui and placement.

Pearl's artistic journey involves oil painting in the Old Masters Tradition where layers of paint translate into layers of meaning.

You are invited to view this unique process as Pearl paints at the St. Albert Artists Colony Studios at Hidden Talent Fine Art School. Her completed works can be viewed in the ajoining gallery.
